The fourth edition of Malta Polyphenols 2007 organised by the University of Malta, will again take place in La Valette in Malta on November 14th – 16th. Malta Polyphenols 2007 will gather more than 100 international specialists (researchers, pharmaceutical laboratories, food industries…) to discuss the practical aspects of polyphenols uses in food, beverage, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries with special emphasis on following:
– Latest advances in polyphenols benefits in human health,
– Latest advances in the role of polyphenols in chronic diseases prevention and therapy with focus on promising role on diabetes, obesity and aging management,
– New solutions to optimize polyphenols processing and to better evaluate and improve their bioeffeciency in finished products.
– New sources, ingredients and technological solutions in polyphenols industrial application (food, beverage, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries)
Today polyphenols benefits in human health have gained a worldwide interest and the knowlegde of the relationship between their consumption and health improvement is constantly growing. The next step is how to bring these compounds to targeted populations and what are the best means to optimize their effects for consumers.
