Dear Colleagues,
Following the success of the 4 past conferences on polyphenols applications, the International Society of Antioxidant in Nutrition and Health (ISANH) decided to organize a 5th meeting between experts in order to debate on the last advances and controversies in the field of polyphenols.
Researches on polyphenols benefits on human health don’t falter and clinical trials, which are more and more numerous appears to show a real efficiency to prevent or cure several pathologies. Nevertheless, many questions remain: molecules stability and bioavailability, mechanism of action in cells, toxicity and to finish the assay in food and cosmetical products.
The aim of the conference Malta Polyphenols 2009 is to discuss last advances on polyphenols and health and highlight recent innovations, controversies and applications of polyphenols as nutraceutical product. Malta Polyphenols 2009 will target researchers and academic professors, R&D departments, clinical, pharmaceutical companies, food supplements companies, cosmetics companies, veterinary medicine companies, marketing departments, investors, start ups and actors of economic environment.

In parallel, the 1st Malta Satellite Symposium on Pomegranate Extracts will be held on Clinical and nutraceutical applications.
In parallel, an Antioxidants future trends session will be held during the two days
A roundtable discussion with speakers and the Scientific Committee will be held at the end of the conference.
